The campground was clean and quiet and the spaces had a good amount of shade. The access to the lake was perfect with well-developed trails and pleasant beach areas.

Labor Day Weekend 2022

First time at the site
I tent camped with bae <3

PROS

- Very easy campsite to drive to
- LAKE IS GORGEOUS!!!!!!!
- Not too many boats on the water; we had an inflatable kayak and felt safe the whole time
- DIDN'T GET ANY BUG BITES
- Firewood available on site from host (bring cash) and fire ring at the campsite!!!
- Good tree cover
- Well maintained toilets
- Water spigot by the toilets
- Some cell reception available (AT&T)

CON
-The walk to the beach does take a good amount of physical effort
- I'd suggest wearing shoes with good soles or strapped sandals rather than flip flops, as it's a very rocky quarter mile walk
- As two able bodied folks carrying a kayak, food and drinks, we had to stop a couple times to rest on the way to the beach
- Someone using mobility aids would have significant difficulties getting to the beach if they used the most direct path from the campsite

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME!!! It's seriously so gorgeous and well maintained <3 We can't wait to come back and invite as many people as possible to experience the fun too :)

We very much enjoyed Logger Campground. The sites are very spacious and very very clean. The campground was quiet. The bathrooms were super clean. No hook ups but water is available in the campground. Short walk to the lake for afternoon swims. The level is very low so lots of shoreline is exposed. You can drive right to the waters edge.
