The campgrounds in general is in poor condition and in disrepair. Its pretty sad how poorly the campgrounds are being maintained. The campground hosts are selling camp firewood to raise funds for Bear Boxes, really?Roads are campsites are failing, the launch ramp has a very large hole in the asphalt as well as the main exit from the Campground onto the main road has a very large pothole that claimed a boat trailer axle. As popular as these campgrounds are, its shameful how poorly they are maintained and cared for. Also, the loop (Crosscut - Site #045) they had signage suggesting to leave the restroom doors open to promote Cleanliness, Help Prevent the spread of Germs ect. All this did was create more flies, foul odors and also Bats using the restrooms as a daytime roost. The other loops were not following these recommendations and the restrooms were much more pleasant.

Great campground, clean, awesome lake to swim, the water is clean and not very cold. People do tent to bump their music well into 12 o clock at night during weekend time. It is more quiet during week. We stayed at campsite 045 and the post camp for that loop did not have wood. There are additional camp hosts that had wood. Lots of dear around so pack the food away as they roam the campgrounds day and night. I will definitely return here next year.

The campground was very nice and kept clean. The lake was amazing. Other campers were not so considerate there is a birthday party one night that went till 3:30 in the morning. The next night was a religious ceremony and music went till 2 o’clock in the morning and third night there was a reunion that went till 3:30 in the morning. Talk to the camp post they said they couldn’t do anything about it unless it was domestic violence. Other campers left their dogs tied up and they barked all different hours of the day and time non stop. Not a family friendly environment especially for kids
