When we showed up, there was no running water. The camp host said that the water would be turned back on the next day, however the water as never turned back on. It was not turned back on until the day after that which was the day we were leaving. It made it very difficult to wash our hands or wash dishes.

Site #10 is a wonderful spot for privacy and relaxation. The only slightly uncomfortable aspect, in our opinion, was the access to the site. Its located on a sort of mini-island, so you need to park your car in the parking lot and carry all your belongings about 150 meters down a narrow path. This was a bit inconvenient, especially with large items like a full-size cooler or a portable grill.Other than that, we truly enjoyed the site. Theres a private trail leading down to the lake, and you can choose from several different access points. Some of them have fallen trees that make getting in a bit tricky, but others offer an easy and completely private way to enter the water and swim. This is not a walk-through site people dont pass by, so it feels very secluded. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning. We loved watching the sunset and welcoming the sunrise from this spot. One more thing to note: even though the site is rated for two cars and six people, we barely managed to fit our large 12-person tent. Space was very tight, and the entrance of our tent ended up facing a bush that we had to walk around to get in and out. There were also a lot of bees, black wasps, and bumblebees around, so be sure to bring repellent and take precautions if you want to stay protected. Another big advantage of this slightly remote island-like setup was that we were able to let our dog off-leash. Throughout our stay, he was free to roam around the campsite without being tethered, and he never wandered far. It made the experience even more enjoyable for both us and our pup. We would gladly come back here again next year.

Pros:#10 is secluded and has a gorgeous view. The reservoir is lovely. The trail around the reservoir is lovely. The drive is easy, if you follow the directions on the campground website.Cons:Other sites are close together.People were playing music all day and evening. There is some sort of gun range or something on the other side of the reservoir, so we heard gunshots off and on all day. That being said, its a beautiful place. Wed go back to Site 10 for sure.

Beautiful facility. Generally clean and well run. Gets a bit densely used on weekends. Great swimming, and the perimeter trail is a nice hike.

Quiet, family focused area with water very close. We've been going for 3 years and haven't had a bad experience with obnoxious campers. Bears are present so bear-box all smellables (boxes are large and provided). There is a path around the reservoir (paved and dirt) that is mostly shaded if you're up for a 4-5 mile walk. Water was low but didn't stop my boys from swimming and kayaking. The host was friendly and made frequent patrols. Another great 4 day stay. Highly recommended for the family with youngsters or couple looking for a quiet place to enjoy.
