It was a very nice campsite. Only issue is I have is some park official decided to lock the restroom near my campsite for the season even though the season wasn't done. I specifically chose this sight because it was near the restroom for my disabled sister to not have to walk far.

Wonderful camp hosts. Very attentive and considerate. The facilities were clean and the sites were maintained well. The only downside was that the camp hosts were in the adjacent camp grounds because the camp hosts on the Giant Gap side left early. This gave some campers the green light to not observe quiet hour rules. Other than a couple rowdy campers, it was a great trip for me and the girls. I come here every year!

We were camped between two large families that were loud - both played very annoying music at an extremely high volume even after other campers asked them to turn it down. The ones above the road from our campsite even started blaring the music at 8:30 the next morning. The camp host refused to intervene. They also dragged boxes and large bags of garbage down to the dumpsters by our campsite - overfilling them so they would not lock and therefore, we had a bear going through the dumpster at 3 am. We cut our trip short because of this obnoxious behaviour.

No drinking water available at the campground or anywhere near by. Closest place to buy water is 30min of rough driving each way. Reservoir is super low but still enough water for paddling. Bears and mountain lions have been seen around the campground recently but didn't cause any trouble during our trip. Could hear gunfire (maybe a shooting range) in the distance. Sites are fairly large and well kept and private. Two large groups were playing music late into the night during our stay. Overall good experience but nothing fantastic at this time of year and with the drought.
