I was there only one night but wish Id had more time. You can fill your RV tank with pitable water available at the edge of the Visitor Center parking lot. My site was very private, surrounded by trees, and facing forest. There was a spacious area to the back of my site with a picnic table and fire ring. There was only one site in view from mine and it happened to be empty. It pretty much felt like O had the forest to myself which I loved!

The maintenance in the campground is top notch. All the sites are mostly private. I really enjoyed my stay. Lots to do in the area. The mosquitos were a little ridiculous this time around though.

We did a few hikes nearby like the Kawishki Falls, Bass Lake and the Stubb Lake trail.
We also enjoyed visiting Ely for lunch and for the International Wolf Center.
Fall Lake has great amenities. Very Clean bathrooms and we used the boat landing and parking lot for a five day trip into the BWCAW after our weekend at Fall Lake Campground.

We had reserved site 46 because it was near lake and the picture looked nice. The driveway length also said it was 45 ft. . We barely got our 20ft camper into the site. . That was with the back of our camper hanging over the rocks that were at back of site. We could not open our awaking and there a as no where to put our chairs. It really should say tent only.. Fortunately the camp ground host were able to move us to another site. The rest of the week was great.
