Bathrooms are not maintained. There was a random car parked in our campsite the entire time. They do not monitor crowds. Our campsite was next to a family with 4 tents and about 10- 12 people! Loop D is a party town in the evenings, with zero ranger involvement to keep people quiet. The campground was SOOOOO loud way past midnight. Definitely not a peaceful nature experience =( sadly this place has gone downhill .

This was the beginning of the season and staffing was light. The campsites are not adequately differentiated for tent vs. RV camping, and we were in a site not suitable for an RV. We were able to change, but it would have been easier all around if the sites had been properly characterized in the reservation system. This is a major campground, and the extra effort would be worth it. The public dump station was listed as "open", and there was a sign to that effect, but the station was locked and there was no way to make use of it. The private campground at Sugar Pine is taking advantage of this situation to gouge people $20 for use of their dump station and $10 for access to potable water.

Nice campground, the sites themselves were spacious and not too close to other campers which was great!! Only complaint were the crows. SO. MANY. CROWS. They broke into our trash and made a mess. They also taunted our smaller dogs. More crows than weve ever seen in years prior. Never thought wed be so bothered by wildlife but they were brutal.

Everyone is very friendly at the campground. We stayed in site C30 in a 23 foot trailer, the spot was nice, but it was steep. Nice walking trails and big lake. We stayed through the snow storm and were able to get out okay the following day. Wish there was AT&T cellular service in the campground that would be helpful.
