Nice lake, facilities were very well kept, other campers were respectful. Supplies just across the road. Would definitely go back! Thank you park service! Underappreciated and underfunded now.

Visited late September. Tent camped. Nice weather, water still warm enough to swim. Not too busy on the beaches and campgrounds. Stayed in the D loop and used the c loop bathrooms which were private bathrooms and immaculate. We brought a blow up raft to paddle out to the little rock islands and the kids had fun doing that. Dog friendly. Sandy beach. I am glad I brought a screened tent to put around the picnic table cause there were lots of gnats at our campsite and the bug spray didn't do much to keep them away. Neighbors were respectful and courteous of night hours quiet time. Campgrounds were well maintained. Will definitely be making this an annual trip.

This is a wonderful place! A real family Summer get away with lots of fun activities in a beautiful lake side location and lots of big trees and lovely views. I found all the staff there to be polite and helpful. And folks visiting from all over seemed very nice. Lots of regular and return visitors. I enjoyed hiking, swimming in the lake and an afternoon sail on the lake with just enough wind for this sailor. The only down side of my visit was seeing how much trash people leave behind. My wife Maria and I picked up lot's of trash at both at the campsites that we stayed at and also on the walking trails around the day use and camp areas. Although there could have been more trash bins on site. You can't really blame the management for people not caring enough to pick up their own garbage. Its a beautiful place that belongs to all of us! We need to clean up after ourselves and keep it that way! Thank you. James Matthies

Clean facilities coupled with large sites in a beautiful location. Easy to self isolate away from crowds at the main beach.
