Beautiful, well maintained campsite. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. Great location. Would definitely go back.

The campground was quiet and friendly. Platforms for the tents were a step up (about a foot), but totally necessary for snow and rain. One slight complaint - we looked for recycling containers but didn't find any. Otherwise, it was a great launching spot for a day at Hetch Hetchy Reservoir and a hike up to Wapama Falls. Unfortunately, we didn't have the equipment in July 2023 to cross the Tueeulala Falls (sturdy hiking sticks and good first aid kit in case of a fall), so we turned back and will have to go back the next time the falls are in full flight.

Best place to stay when you go to Yosemite. All other campgrounds are booked out and you'll be sitting right next to each other. Diamond O is great because you won't have any noises and it's very quiet and relaxing.
When you can book online pick the spots away from main entrance and you'll love it!!

Campground is outside of Yosemite in the national forest. The campsite had significant downed trees and appeared to be in the process of a major post- storm clean up. Bathrooms were clean, albeit put toilets. Quiet campgrounds beautiful setting apart from the tree cleanup in progress.

The site pads were very level. The campground host, Robert, was exceptionally kind and helpful! The bathrooms were clean and regularly stocked. The walk on the trail to the river was awesome. The only down side are the large piles of downed, dead wood surrounding all the campsites, distracting from the view. On the other hand, with the fires, we are lucky there still is a campground close to Hetch Hetchy.
