The campgrounds were beautiful and clean! We LOVED our stay and plan to come back in the future.

I booked site 9 for June 30th thru July 5th back in March. It was literally the only site available. I now know why. This site is not level at all. We could not get our camper level. We finally had to back it into a corner on the pull thru site. It also had absolutely no shade all day long. We then fought ants literally the entire time we were there. The ants were insane. We sprayed every day. The only thing that was decent about site 9 was it had pretty good water access which my children enjoyed. The bathhouse really needed to be cleaned. The couple at the front were extremely sweet and very helpful. I dont think I will be staying at Modoc due to the ants but I know if I ever do again I would definitely stay away from site 9.

Like the camp ground very much but most of the sites are not any where leavel you have to jack your camper up more than a foot in a lot of the sites

We were assigned site 9 and couldn’t stay there because it was so out of level, like a hillside. The campers across the way said some friends had left another site a week early and their site might be open. We inquired and were able to switch to 18 for our short stay. It was a perfect lakeside peninsula light years ahead of the site we were assigned. It was at the end of a cul de sac and way larger and more private. We also made fast friends with our neighbors and had a great stay!

Very quite and spacious. Beautiful waterfront. The people that work here are so friendly and go way out of their way to give any help possible. Very clean.
