This is a beautiful place to camp. Great location and friendly staff. Make sure sure you know the hours the park gate is locked. If you need to leave before 7:00 AM its a problem.

It was a beautiful site, extremely quiet, EVERYONE had a great time. Only improvements: The boat ramp wasnt clearly posted, the signs returning to the site were not visible when returning from the boat ramp. The electric leaves more to be desired. Overall, EXCELLENT TRIP!!!

This is a wonderful campground. The sites offer ample privacy and good views of the lake. It was very quiet as we went in the middle of the week. Bathhouses were clean. There is no trash in the park and it is well taken care of. The hosts are very kind and helpful. We have camped here many times and it is our favorite campsite.

Beautiful little campground! Mostly quite and peaceful. Has decent cell reception and with a small cell booster you can definitely work remotely from here, (Zoom and Slack don't get bogged down if you are working remotely). Some sites are a bit steep for fishing, but the views are gorgeous! A true bastion of native oak species as well, I love to see the southern hard woods flourishing in these protected lands.

We found Modoc to be one of the most beautiful places we have camped at. Seems every site has a fantastic water view. Sites are clean, level and large. We have a 27 foot motorhome and experienced no issues. On dump station a number of bathhouses and laundry facility. Strom Thurman Dam is just a short drive away and so is Augusta Georgia. Highly recommend a stay at Modoc.

Great cell Signal, amazing views, very secluded, private spaces. Very far from anything but the Dollar store. Great place to get away.
