Site # 12. Private pull through. Very unlevel. We were pretty high on one side to be level. Steep to water but accessible from the site for ages 8-50. We hung a rope on a tree and it was very helpful. Liked being on a cove, not a lot of boats passing through while we swam. Tons of trash left by others was disappointing. (we picked it up). Only real negative was the ants!!! They took over inside and out.

It is our style of camping, not an Rv park, its an Rv campground, lots of space between sites, right on the water, nice shower. Great campground roads to ride bikes. We stayed 5 nights and loved it.

First time staying at Modoc. We were in site 12. Bring blocks to level camper. Most of the sites on the peninsula were un-level. Very steep to water. There are good sites at this campground. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Overall we had a good time. Had to drive to the other side of the campground to find a good place for the kids to swim. Nice boat ramp and dock. Would camp there again in future.

The campsite has beautiful Views. The only fault we found was that the camp's ground is not well maintained The campsites themselves are very small and very on level level we pull a 32' cougar and the site where in said it had a 40' driveway the only thing they forgot to tell you was that it is shaped like a cereal bowl and we had to put 4" under the one side of the camper in order to level up.. Also the turn arounds at the end of the inlets to come back to your campsite are very very tight there's trees in the way and they're very sharp turns. The restrooms and showers was not clean for the 10 days we were there. They did keep the toilet paper full. And there is no one at the Entrance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so you just come and go-as-you-please.

Clean, spacious sites . Site are not close to each other and most sites are on the water. Very friendly staff.
