Our check in experience was very good. Nice, friendly, helpful staff.Site was good and very well maintained. The restroom and shower facilities in our area were poor. In fact, in such bad condition that I would not use them. We have not camped at Modoc for many years and were disappointed to see the neglect.

Another solo scouting trip with the popup before bringing my wife and 5th wheel. I'll be back with them as several of the sites are very spacious, scenic and private with easy kayak access. The only con was the trail on the map does not exist any longer and several of the restrooms are outdated but clean.

I stayed 4 days at sight 62. The facility are well maintained, level and provide amenities such as retaining walls, fire rings with grills, standing bbq and a 12' picnic table. I had a lot of privacy, as I was the on sight with only one other camper. I had easy access to the lake for fishing and kayaking. The sights all seemed to have water access and were highly maintained and level. I can see where it may be crowded in peak season, but it is well layed out. I walked around the entire campground and noticed the attention to detail the engineers took on every sight to ensure access and use of the lake. There is a local Dollar General just up the road if you forget something and a local gas/rig store just out the gate. I identified a few sights i'd like try next time and plan on returning again and again. Full hook ups, great, peaceful area. Hamilton State Park was just up the road.

This was our stay in a Coe campground. It's one of the best we visited barred by the lack of full hook up. The hosts were exceptional, the stay was incredibly quiet even though we arrived on a weekend, and the sites were spaced out, clean, and had a beautiful view. Will definitely be back and can't wait to explore other Coe sites.
