Our favorite campground so far!! Walter was a wonderful host!! The only complaint is that it needs to stay open longer!! Missing out on the best time to camp!! Would love to do some fall/winter camping here!!

the campground was very clean and relaxing. We biked & walked around the roads which are paved. The mix of flat areas and hills make for an interesting trek. Our only issue was with the poison ivy which was around may sites, so we could not walk through the woods.

Very clean, quite, and well maintained campground with super nice attendants and a fair amount of space between the campsites. Lake views are great, especially the sunsets, though actual access to the water from most sites is difficult due to steep banks. However the steep banks and creek channel gives some excellent fishing opportunities as evidenced by the numerous bass fisherman in the Hawe Creek near the campground. The Creek also offers good kayak areas without having to deal with choppy water like you do in the lower ends of the lake closer to the dam.
