We had a great experience at Twin Lakes. Beautiful mostly lake front sites. Well maintained. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Twin Lakes is a beautiful place to camp! Sites right on Lake Hartwell make it a plus. Most sites are spacious and always super clean at check in. We have been several times and plan to go back.

Ive been to this campground several times and really like it. I understand its a big campground. It might be hard to keep up with bathroom maintenance, but thought it could definitely use more attention.

overall this campground has beautiful views. The biggest problem is the waste dump locatiion. You cannot pull straight in but have to make a wide turn on the opposite side without enough room to get your camper close to the dump. When finished and pulling out we made a sharp turn and our trailer locked down because of the brake away cable had pulled out. We almost tore up a rear truck tire trying to get it out. We were right there at the check in/check out gate. Not one camp host asked if we needed help. They saw us but never asked if we needed assistance. We are in our 70's pulling a 31 ft fifth wheel. Also the paving at the dump is all broken up and danger of falling. While we have camped here before we will not be back.

All sites are spacious and private, most with lake views. Great location between Greenville and Clemson. We visited in February and it was very peaceful. Staff at gate are wonderful.

I really hate the 3pm check in time. Makes it really late especially in the fall and winter when it gets dark so early. I also do not like that the gate gets locked at 10 pm. If you go to an event and it is a little way away you have to leave early so you don't get locked out. You paid for your site yet others who are just there visiting park their cars outside of the gate so they can leave after the gate gets locked. So much for quiet time! I think all parks should have a gate with a key pad.

One of our favorite campgrounds. There sites are large and most are on the lake. The bath houses are very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to stay when visiting Clemson or just to enjoy Lake Hartwell.

Due to proximity and the lake, it's our go to place. Same for other folks, it's so hard to get a reservation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Always a joke or story to tell, like family.

Deep, level site with a great view. The lake was drawn down a good bit but there was still a lot of fishing. Convenient to the town of Clemson (~15 minutes) and Pendleton is a short drive in the opposite direction. Friendly hosts and the campground was kept clean. Due to seasonal closures, only one restroom/shower house was open, but it was very tidy and clean. We will most definitely be back!! Highly recommend.

This is a very nice campground. The lots r in very good condition and the lake is spectacular. We had a great stay and will be back again. You cannot beat the price especially if you have a Golden Age Passport. Our seven night stay cost 96 dollars including electric and water. There are many BLM campgrounds on the Lake so you have multiple choices. Clemson is only ten miles away.

This was our third stay at Twin Lakes and by far the worst. We arrived on a Friday for the weekend when the campground is the busiest. The restrooms were NOT cleaned the entire time we were there! One of the sinks in the womens restroom was clogged by black hair. The floor in the handicap shower in the mens restroom was covered in pieces of toilet paper as though someone had used it to dry off after a shower! We found both restrooms gross and disgusting, not to mention a potential health risk and unsanitary!!! Weve stayed at other CoE parks throughout the country and have never had this experience before. The practice of contracting out the cleaning and only having them come on weekdays needs to be changed so this situation doesnt happen again!!!

Twin Lakes is a very nice campground and close to home for convenience. Irresponsible pet owners that camp there must think that the rules don't apply to them. Also they hardly ever pick up after their dogs, and mostly let the dogs run loose. The rules plainly state that all pets must be on a leash outside if the camper or RV. Burning all sorts of trash in fire pits and smelling up the area. During the winter months the volunteer staff do very little to patrol the park. Park Rangers must be a thing of the past. Never saw the ranger, not (1) one time while we were there. Great job Savannah District. You definitely live up to my expectations. Hopefully our next stay will be more relaxing.

Campground was beautiful with most sites spread out well. Bathrooms were clean. The green area near the water at our campsite was very torn up by skunks, which came out at night but caused us no problems. We were anxious about the skunks because we have two small dogs that go out at night before bed, but we were able to work around the skunks.
