Site #97 was huge! We loved the location and this loop of the campground even though we were not directly on the lake. However, after 25 years of camping we had our first of 3 altercations. 1. We had neighbors who were playing music after quiet hours but it wasnt obnoxious in volume or music choice yet someone filed a complaint on US! They had the park ranger come out to talk to us. 2. The camp host came back the next day mad about how many cars we had on our HUGE site. Our 2 daughters came for dinner and were parked on our site, on the gravel, yet when I explained this to him he still had a bad attitude towards me. Even after telling him we were camping at 3 sites all on site distance of where we were. 3. The 2nd night of our neighbors consisted of guitar playing and singing, not too loud and he was really good. As I sat out by the fire enjoying the music, the above mentioned host came zooming up on his golf cart to my site while he stared at me blinding me with his headlights. Probably got another complaint about sounds after quiet time.

Twin Lakes is wonderful. Clean and well maintained. I have stayed in site 64, 99 and 97. My experience is that the highest numbers and the lowest numbered loop are the most private and quiet. The loop that stay open in the winter has small, very closely placed sites with little privacy.

This is probably the best Campground we have ever been to! Every spot is spacious and well laid out. People were nice and friendly , the lake was fabulous and so private. We felt like we had found a hidden Gem!

We had a great time camping at Twin Lakes. We had a waterfront site with plenty of space and enjoyed beautiful sunsets every evening. The facilities were clean as was the rest of the park. The campground host did a great job of cleaning and preparing the sites for campers.

Park is very nice and we enjoyed our stay. My rating is based solely on the reception we got by the volunteer manning the entrance when we arrived. We have camped in many spots all over the country in our 31 years of camping. Never have we run into anyone as rude, unaccommodating, and lacking in common sense as the man who attempted to help us when we showed up at the gatehouse on a very slow Sunday afternoon. I won't go into details here on one person, since the others we saw during our 5 night stay were all very good. A nice campground that is very well run by the COE. We will return.
