Twin Lakes is well managed. It is well laid out. The facilities are in excellent shape. Corps Of Ing campgrounds are almost always top notch and Twin Lakes definitely is! Most of the individual sites are set for good viewing of the lake.

Great campground. Some safety lighting at the bathhouse walkway would be great. Theres large drops from the sidewalk to the ground. Very dark

How a Jewel!! Check-in was smooth and easy. Site 39 was perfectly level, large, shaded and right on the lake. One of, if not THE, most quiet campground I've stayed in. That may change when summer rolls in, but in mid-May, maybe a handful of cars each day. Locking the gate at nights also curbs folks from just wandering through. There are a lot of multi-use trails in the area. Some of the intersections were confusing. On the day I was riding the perimeter loop, someone had dropped a trail map produced by the South Carolina Upstate Equine Council and I thought I was just picking up some trash. SO Thankful for the map. Online maps were lacking detail. Also rode the trail system north of Clemson and they were excellent trails. Definitely a return trip later this year! Hopefully the big skunk that wandered thru the campsite one evening will have found a new home. I didn't move a muscle! Thankfully, it moseyed along its way.

We love this campground. Wonderful sites with beautiful views. Deer sightings regularly. Close to Clemson with plenty of restaurants, breweries, grocery, and anything else you might need. If you are there in the winter, check out the Holiday Light Show in Seneca!

Everything was wonderful until we left. The gate attendant got very out of sorts with my husband because he thought he didnt turn in his green tag. I had already turned both tags in for the both of us. He was very hostile about it. We are very quite campers never cause any trouble. It seems like the attendants have a problem with my husband. Every Time we are there they try to say he has done something wrong.

Site was level and clean. Portion of park was closed due to winter dates. Approximately 5 other campers there. Enjoyed our stay and was able to walk thru out the park by ourselves. Shhh, its our favorite campground in SC.

Twin Lakes is quickly becoming our favorite campground due the scenery and location to various small towns throughout the foothills.

The only issue that i have is that you allow people to reserve sites just for the weekend and if you want to come to camp for a week or two you can't because people have all the weekends taken.

Enjoyed the large sites & clean bathrooms. Too many skunks roaming on the premises at night.
