We always enjoy Twin Lakes. Site 58 is nice and secluded but was a challenge for my husband to back into. There are several other sites we look forward to using.

The bathrooms are atrocious They're covered in bugs all over and there's no soap. In there at all, so I understand we're camping. We should bring our own soap. But I thought there'd at least be hand soap in the bathroom. Also, there were no designated spots to go fishing with. Not a lot of explanation on where to go fishing. So when we walked out to where we thought we could and would be able to, we sunk in mud and were actually forced to leave some furniture behindAlso, the area where you have to put your tent is very, very hard. So recommend bringing an air mattress, otherwise, it was A beautiful sceneryThe gentleman at the front was very nice

Site was great! Easy back-in for our 40 Class A. Perfectly level. Extremely private. Bath house and trash nearby but neither visible from site. No recycling available anywhere in campground, unfortunately. Plenty of space between sites. Cant really see water from site but the view into the woods and the privacy are worth it. Bath house was clean, staff was friendly, grounds were well maintained. It was our first stay at Twin Lakes and we would definitely stay again.

Overall good campground. Although the bath house had huge roach type bugs EVERYWHERE!

Great experience with this campground. Clean bathrooms, lake was beautiful. Great set up for on the actual campground layout. They offer free lifr vests to borrow which is cool but we didnt swim. Came here since there were no hotels in the area while we evacuated florida. The rangers were amazing, they did their best to help give advice when my cat got loose. Havent found her yet but I look forward to my next stay to search some more fot my baby and explore more of this lovely area. Thanks rangers, you made a bad situation much better with your help. You are angels.

I was disappointed with my latest visit. The restroom was so dirty, with cob webs between stall walls, and dead gnat bodies all over the sink and floors. When I mentioned this to a park attendant, he said it wasn't his responsibility to review. REALLY?

Quite a few hiking areas within a short drive.Had an electrical problem with the 30 amp circuit but was taken care of first thing the next day. Host was going to loan me a 50-30 adapter but already had one.Site 58 is a very short walk to the shower house. Not really lakefront but no neighbors close or on the campsite side.

Twin Lakes is the best park we have visited. The sites are large and a tree buffer between some which I think is great. People at the gate office were very helpful. If we have the chance we will stay again.

The campground is nice and clean. The staff was very helpful at check-in and the beaches were nice and big at the little pubic park right down the road.

Twin Lakes is a hidden gem. Right on Lake Hartwell it is beautiful and quiet. The volunteers keep it clean and everyone is friendly.

Skunks everynight at our campfire and no one cared
We were told that there wsds nothing that could be done
When drove into campground at nite we would see 3 to 5 on side of grass i wont camp here again with skunks around. They need 2 wash outs side by side the small one us useless for large campers..

As always the campground was clean along with the bath houses. The only negative is I heard of the skunks at night and had never had any issues. I never saw one but the smell was obvious they were nearby.
