I have been going to sand beach campground since 2006, we always enjoy the park and being able to walk to the beach! The park was very enjoyable!

Beautiful area, wonderful beaches and the sunset was fantastic. The bathrooms were not as clean and stocked as we have found in other locations. The campsite itself was good. More remote in the sense of no additional services available, but if one is aware of this no problem. The sites are heavy ATV use so just be aware of that. Everyone does follow the rules on noise so after 10pm... that was good.

Pros:
The campsite was huge. Bathrooms were clean and close to campsite. Water is close as well. Day use beach 3 min walk from site. Plenty of shade. It was a nice family trip riding at the dunes for 3 days. I love the campground and will defiantly return yearly.
Cons:
No cell service
There is no hand soap at restrooms , so make sure to bring some.
Campsite number 33 no privacy
We had a huge group of people across from us who reserved 6 campsites and were loud and singing karaoke until 3 am in the morning, screaming, and drunk.

Rained a lot but rode anyway went to tillamook cheese factory got great ice cream went to pacific city and got some new sweatshirts

We always go to sandbeach sand lake I have noticed over the years its getting way more crowded with people from Washington. Which sometimes ruins the experience for us . I feel that the rangers need to enforce the rules a little more they are kind of blind to some things which they are clearly going on.

Nice big camping sites with plenty of driveway for your 5th wheel and truck. Lovely trees surrounded our campsite but plenty of sunlight too. Water and bathrooms were nearby.Tillamook was not to far away for site seeing. You can hear the Pacific Ocean waves breaking but your not on the beach. It was a super nice campground for boondocking. We stayed in the middle of the week.

This is one of our go to places and we really like it there. It's very kid friendly to where it's a small area with open play areas so the kids can be seen by fellow riders. One of the good things is Tillamook cheese factory is just up the road where you can get some good ice cream . There is a fuel station just up the road where you can just about any mx/atv or side x side part you may need. The only downfall is no electricity at any of the sites and my wife has a medical condition that requires her to be on a machine at night and there is no generator use after 10 and believe me people get really upset is you use the generator. I would pay extra for at least electrical outlets at the sites. It would be a cost to have electric to the sites but I would pay extra per night just to have a plug in with that being said we'll still go there

These idiots moved in across the street from us. Right out of the gate they get there truck stuck in the sand adjacent to there driveway, where they're not supposed to be. They ran there generator 24/7. They let there dog terrorize the whole camp area. If your looking for a place to camp where the people around you respect there neighbors, Sand beach is not the place to camp!
