Well maintained and quiet. Right on the beach!

We were able to get a campsite with a few weeks notice. Our site #37 had plenty of space and was tucked in the trees. We could hear car noise on the nearby highway but it wasn't too bad, and it was great to be able to walk to the beach. One thing to note, while this site was big it did not have a lot of level space. Other than that, bathrooms and camp site were clean, no complaints!

The only drawback to this campground is proximity to your neighbors. The beach is enormous and Tillicum is very close to Yachats and Cape Perpetua.

Literally the NICEST campground host EVER!! So sweet, and helpful getting me an extra night on labor day weekend. Waking up on the beach was magical! The only complaint is its proximity to the road but you super grateful for all the state parks!

Adequate space between sites. Easy beach access that allows leashed dogs. Some sites pretty much full shade so was a bit chilly and no solar charging.

Site no. 37: Plenty of space for our large 8 person tent, camp chairs and gear. Nice stump for chopping wood. If you walk to the very back of the site near the road, you can get decent reception (Mint/T-Mobile) Full privacy to the right. Semi private from the left campsite. Short walk across the way to the bathrooms, which had flushing toilets and were rather clean. Staff and host was super nice. I hate to recommend this place because it doesn't need to be more popular than it already is! Super close to Waldsport where we went crabbing and fishing. Beach is just a couple minutes walk across camp.

The reservation part worked great. But it was the host and the park that made it all excellent. The host deserves a pat on the back. He was so very helpful! The caretakers has the park in great shape. Love Tillicum!!

So many cars! It's very crowded. Do not recommend to those who want some privacy. The beach is really nice though.

ATTN TENTERS: If you are sensitive to noise, enjoy extensive privacy, and do not like to hear traffic - I urge you to plan ahead and get the water facing campsites. I would like to note to others that this campsite is on the side of the highway so be aware that in a tent, you will hear trucks. This is a predominantly RV campground. We were the only couple with Tents, so if you do not like to tent next to RV's this might not be the space for you. WITH HAVING SAID THAT: This campsite is truly beautiful. There are trees perfectly separated to provide slight coverage from neighbours as well as set up a Hammock. The lots are fairly large which provides tenters with a lot of space to set up camp. Our favourite part is the beach. its a 2m walk to the most beautiful, sandiest beach. You can have bonfires on the beach, cook, and essentially do anything you need to. This campsite is also very close to tourist attractions which are a very short drive away. The sunsets are magical, the campsite is very clean, and the hosts are very kind. I 100% would go back with an RV, I would only do a 3 day trip here in a tent.
