The staff was friendly and helpful. Our campsite was big and had a lovely oceanview. The restrooms were clean, yet after a few days, unfortunately the plumbing backed up.

Ocean-side campsites and easy beach access. Site 23 was sheltered on the edge of the bluff overlooking the beach - excellent for tent camping. RVs, vans, rooftop tents must park on the side of the road - which was fine but a little separated from the actual camp spot.

Host kept bathrooms spotless! Our campsite was a gem, couldn't believe how lucky we were to have that spot! Favorite camp spot on the Oregon coast so far!

We LOVED this campground! The spots were so pretty and private, and the view was spectacular! The camp hosts were also friendly and helpful. Bathroom was super clean. One of my favorite campsites of all time!

Not sure why you are not providing hand soap in the bathrooms anymore? No shows !!! People that had reservations and do not show up !! Very frustrating !! Just wrong. So many other campers there frustrating the same issue. You can fix it !! Thanks

We had one of the front row reservation campsites and our picnic bench/ fire pit area overlooked the ocean. Absolutely beautiful. The park manager was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Our campsite was on the ocean side with parallel parking that was level and easy to pull into. Check the length of your drive way before booking as there were many parallel parking sites that would have been tough for us to get into if neighboring campsites had vehicles parked around us. Some Oceanside sites are very exposed. This offers a great view of the ocean and the wind to go with it. Site 23 was great as it had an ocean view and we were in a mottle cove of trees to block winds and some rain fall. Some campsites get large puddles during the rain, but 23 was okay due to the trees. If you have a trailer, your trailer will be a bit removed from the campsite due to walking down a little path from parallel parking site. We didnt mind so much, but something to consider when selecting a site. If you are tent camping there were multiple places to put large and small tents under tree cover meaning the ground was not as soupy as other areas of the campground. If you have little kids be aware that the campground rests on a cliff side above the beach so Oceanside sites could be dangerous. Stairs to get down to beach are easy enough, but high tide comes all the way up the beach to the base of the cliff so make sure you are paying close attention to high tide times before taking your kiddos down to the sand.

we have enjoyed this park for many years, mainly because of the views and access to the beach. However, the last 2 visits have been challenging due to the rocks at the bottom of the stairs (both of them leading to the beach). It seems that many people can not navigate the obstruction it presents and really should be corrected in some manner. Beverly Beach is using a very long woven mat to enable wheelchairs to access the beach, but that might not work at Tillicum. However, something needs to be done before someone is badly injured trying to enjoy this beautiful beach.
A response would be appreciated.

Camp host went out of her way to see if site 31 FF was open. She had an envelope available for me to fill out and came back to pick it up.

Showers would be useful for guests! Park was beautiful otherwise, thank you

This is a lovely campground, with a combination of gorgeously shaded wooded sites as well as less shady grassy sites with ocean views, so site research is key. The beach is wide, clean, and fabulous. The campground is efficiently run, with firewood and RV water tank fill station easily accessible right at the checkin kiosk. (But no RV dump). We really do love this place, which is why weve returned year after year, but we do have one complaint. There are many first come first served sites available, some of which are highly sought ocean view sites, but snagging one of these sites is literally impossible. The checkin time of 2PM is strictly enforced, but the campground hosts provide existing campers with Occupied signs to plant in sites as soon as the sites are vacated. So, for example, if youre an existing camper and have your eye on a more desirable FCFS site, as soon as that site is vacated, you can plop an occupied sign in the site to save it. Campers arriving without reservations hoping for a FCFS site are told to return at the 2:00 PM checkin time, but will therefore have no chance whatsoever of securing a first come first served site, because those sites were snagged well before the checkin time. Its not a fair arrangement. Otherwise, the campground is wonderful.

We camp at Tillicum 1-2 times per year. The hosts/staff on duty were the friendliest I have ever encountered at this particular campground. Very helpful whenever we needed them. Everything is clean and well maintained. We loved the new tables and bigger/easier campfire grates. My one recommendation would be to address the draining during rains. There is a small walk downhill to our campsite from the road and no grass, so all the rainwater from the road formed a small stream on our only path in and out of the campsite, and created good size puddles in the middle of our site. Each time we went to the beach we came back with a small bucket of sand to fill in and try to absorb the mud. This worked pretty well, and despite this issue, we had an excellent time and will be back.

Beautiful ocean views, easy access, and clean facilities. No issues whatsoever

Love this place but this is the first time weve been told not to let our kids use sidewalk chalk on the pavement. Apparently the folks who tend to the campground might have to do a little work if it doesnt rain. It did rain and it was gone in about two minutes.

The weather cooperated and gave us two full sunny days. We managed to get a beachside site. The campground was neat and tidy and the campground host was friendly. What more could we ask for? We love Tillicum CG.
