Hidden gem, every campsite is great. If you fit in the space you will love camping here. Some sites have a bit of a slope where you park your vehicle, but if you're in a tent not an issue. Some of the ocean side of the loop have million dollar views. Some sites have a lack of privacy, some no privacy. The Hwy 101 side of the loop may have some road noise, but not bad at all. Flush toilets, no showers, no dump, most w/o electrical.Easy stair access to the sandy beach.100% recommend this campground, we've already booked our next adenverue starting here.

It is very difficult to decide what spot you may want based just on length and width. The entire park is poorly laid out

Great campsite. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute. The beach is beautiful and provides opportunities for walking, running, flying kites, sand sculptures, and biking. The staff are very helpful and work to meet the needs. The bathrooms were very clean, and the available resources made for a great trip. You are literally camping next to the beach.

The beach was perfect for long walks & almost no one on it (mid-May). There were some great close drives for scenic views & I would highly recommend anyone to use this campground. Probably the only slightly downside was that the bathrooms/showers were a bit of a hike (but then, I'm on vacation, so what's the hurry?)

Park employees were good, but we were unaware of the park ownership rules and ended up paying for both our reserved sites and first come first serve camp sites. The Pull Thru sites we had reserved were narrow and not very level, I understand why this was, but it would have been nice to see that reflected in the site description. Site numbers were faded and needed new paint, Struggled a bit leaving the Park, a few more directional road signs would have been nice. The Park itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the beach and the Ocean Views. Will look foreword to another visit, now that we understand the lay of the Park better.

This campground is small, people are friendly and quiet, no kids when I was there, no partying, right next to the beach, a nice manager who keeps the restrooms and other areas clean and tidy. Nice long beach. There are camp sites in the woods and open sites by the ocean. This campground is a short drive to Heceta Head lighthouse and the Cape Perpetua hiking trails to the south, and Yachats to the north, a nice, small coastal town. For a senior like me, an added benefit is the 50% discount on the camping fee with an all-agency senior pass. What's not to like?

My camp site was in the trees but within easy walking distance of the beach. It was near Highway 101, but traffic noise was not loud. The campground was pleasantly quiet, possibly because I stayed after Labor Day. The other campers were cordial. I had my dog with me. We had good weather and enjoyed walks on a beautiful beach. I don't like camping where radios are blaring, adults are having alcohol parties, and kids are running around screaming. This campground is within a short driving distance of good coastal hikes. My dog and I did two of them: Cape Perepetua and Heceta Head.
