Nice place, but no shower? Come on! Sites are decent though not very private and not well maintained. Several sites when we were there were muddy and massive puddles which would be easy to remedy with a little gravel and care.

In summary, nice campground with a direct access to an amazing beach but overprice for the utilities offered, especially if you can have one of the site that are directly above the beach. In detail, we stay at site 57 for the 2024 labor day weekend with a 19foot trailer and a 1500 long bed crew cab Ram. It was our 2nd time at Tillicum. My father wanted to go.The pros: The site was big , well situated regarding the bathroom, very clean and with lot of shade, Easy access to the the wonderful beach with stairs. Flush toilet are clean. The cons: overprice for the amenities: a single sink with a light stream of water that you have to stay push all time. Usually for this price, campgrounds in the state offer hot shower. Also, Website says pad was 27ft; it was not. At mot it was 24ft and parking the trailer in it is very challenging due to the angle, the narrow road and the trees all around. A couple that booked the site next to us with a longer trailer could not enter their site. They have to be relocated. Luckily, another easy to access site at the entrance was available but with no hookup. Be aware! Also, most of the sites above the beach with the amazing view was announced 1st come 1st serve on the reservation site but where mostly all tagged as Reserved when we arrived.

Popular, crowded, little privacy at most sites. Those up by the highway are well-screened by trees, as are some of those by the beach. Bathrooms were handy to Site 57 but not obtrusive. Lots of dogs in camp but little barking. Quiet at night. Good access to Yachats and the Cape Perpetua area. Farther south is a good hike leaving from Washburn State Park. We were surprised to see campfires in late August because the website led us to believe all fires were banned.

Beautiful setting. Electric and water hookups. Only complaint is the bathroom was low on soap for 2 days.

Had a good time. Campground was very nice. Terrific to walk on the beach. Disappointed that many people did not wear masks in the restrooms, even though the sign said they were mandated.

We had a quiet, relaxing time. The camp host are wonderful. We just wanted to rest on the beach and did not take in any of the many extra activities available in the area around this park.
