The bathrooms were clean! Hosts were friendly. Campsites are well spaced. Best campsite we went to on the Oregon coast out of 5 visited. Thank you Yuma for such clean bathrooms!!

I stayed on the back loop. I was concerned about highway traffic noise, but didn't hear any. The sites on the back loop (furthest from the beach) were much more spacious, private and heavily shaded. The ocean front sites were tight, parking is right on top of the road. Nice views, but I'm glad I didn't score ocean front, I sleep in my camper. The reason for the 4 stars are due to the bathrooms and lack of a designated dishwashing water disposal. Bathrooms are outdated and no supplies. I couldn't find a place to dispose of my dishwashing water other than the toilet??? I made due though and had a wonderful time there. The sunset on the beach was awesome! The hosts were friendly.

We visit a lot of state parks. We found Tillacom to be exceptional in these ways: it was very clean - even the roadways were tidy and well kept. The park is relatively small, but the location is lovely as it is perched just above the shoreline so that many campsites can view the ocean from their site. The beach access will well placed and really easy to get from the campground to the beach in just a few steps. And, the campground was quiet (we visited in early June). This area of the Pacific coastline is rugged and beautiful with many places to hike and explore. Close enough to two smaller towns (one north and one south) for those who want to enjoy fish and chips or hand crafted coffee. We will be back next year!

Site 59 provided a nice space to relax at Tillicum Beach. Although not waterfront, we only had to walk less than 100 yards to reach the beach.

The sites that were closer were stacked back to back, with little privacy between them. But they also had semi-private grassy areas hidden by shrubs between their spaces and the beach.

Our site had electric and water hookups, which the waterfront ones lacked. There was also plenty of room between our site and neighboring campsites.

Although the state of Oregon has several campgrounds along the beach, Tillicum is the only one operated by the U.S. Forest Service.

Except for the pounding surf, the campground was quiet. The camp hosts were friendly and kept the campground and its restrooms clean.

There was not enough room in our back-in driveway for both our trailer and the tow vehicle. We had to park our Yukon in a day-use lot, but there was no extra charge for that.

We had one of the electric sites that were back from the waterfront campsites. We didn't lose anything, though, because those sites ran right next to one another, so we were happy to have a more traditional campsite. The camp hosts were friendly and kept the premises looking good. It was great to be able to walk down to the beach after a short walk.

This is a relaxing, well managed and very beautiful place to camp. Some site have glorious beach views, but for van campers not much privacy because vehicles park on the side of a road. Other sites lack the beach view but offer spacious, wooded settings. I had a forest setting and could hear and smell the ocean! Several trails lead to a long and uncrowded sand beach. Management was cheerful and very helpful. I loved this place.

Most spaces, including the one we were in, have ocean views. It was so wonderful to sit and watch the sunset over the ocean from our site. It's a well kept and quiet campground. The hosts were available and regularly seen checking on things. Please don't go here - we want it for ourselves!
