All my stuff was stolen from my campground on the first night. Camp host said its a frequent occurrence, and between Waxmyrtle, Lagoon and Driftwood Campgrounds, A DAILY occurrence. Otherwise, seems like a nice place.

Generators. Generators. Generators. It’s impossible to enjoy any sort of peace in a campground these days. The sites are small so think twice about sharing a spot with friends. Oh and how I could I forget the incessant other sound - the ATVs on the Dunes. It’s really too bad because it could be a nice campground. The Forest Service really needs to designate areas for tents and areas for generator loving RVers.

It was pretty noisy when we were there. No active host. Federal officials came by once to align a nearby party that was out of compliance. The nature volunteer was friendly and informative!
