Good overall experience with campground and it's located close to a lot of things to do. The bathrooms were our only area of concern. Only of the two bathrooms worked and the womens bathroom could have been better stocked with soap and toilet paper as well as being cleaned better.

I had booked a campsite online, upon arrival the site was occupied, I went to the CG Host and they said that there was nothing that they could do. They said I would have to call Rec.gov. They made no effort to help or to determine why there was someone on the site that I had booked. There was no wifi or cell coverage at the camp. When I found a place to call, there was a 25 minute hold time on the phone line to Rec.gov. It was now 8:00 pm and worried that I would have no place to stay, I ended up booking another site, that I knew was vacant, but I could not get a full refund on the original site, because, they said, I could have changed it online...

Bathrooms were clean and tent site was flat and soft. The site was cozy but not too small but lacked in privacy from neighbors. The site was full of trash which we didn't notice until the next morning, we woke up to flies buzzing around feeding on the garbage scattered everywhere. The campground overall seemed nice enough so it may have been campers before us leaving a mess. We normally like to wake up slow and grab coffee but we didn't have a real trash bag or gloves and didn't want to eat breakfast surrounded by trash and flies so we took off early.
This is likely not the fault of the host.. but when we got to our site after 10 PM someone else had set up camp. The entrance did state that the grounds were full but there weren't "reserved" tags so the couple assumed nobody was coming. Since it was so late and they had no where else to go we agreed to let them stay in the site as we aren't confrontational and felt uncomfortable telling them to leave. We didn't feel it was an emergency so we didn't bother the hosts, but I admit I lost some sleep worrying we would get fined for having an extra car/tent/people on the site with us.
We would consider camping here again although we will try to show up earlier and bring an extra trash bag/gloves to pick up the site in case it's dirty.
