We enjoyed our site next to the lagoon, where we spotted a heron eating a huge fish and other wildlife. We did not enjoy the noisy generators from our neighboring campers. We camped mid-week and it was very quiet until Thursday night, when we could hear distant OHVs well after dark. The hike to the beach from nearby Wax Myrtle CG was lovely.

Very peaceful. Loved sleeping to the choir of the frogs.

I've toured up and down the Oregon coast many times and I found this place almost by accident a couple years ago. All I can say is that it is one of favorite places on the coast. I simply love the dunes.. If you are not fond of listening to ATVs racing around the dunes all day then this place isn't for you. However, in my opinion, it isn't noisy.. I love the fact the a person has to climb up and over a big dune to get to the ocean. Lots of hiking to be done. I've personally seen bear tracks as well as deer. I saw a grey fox on my recent visit passing thru the campground.. Lots of wildlife... Even saw sea otters in a pond off of the Waxmyrtle trail..

Loved all the wildlife sounds at camp, frogs at night and birds in the morning. Getting to the beach was easy, and the paths and trails were so much fun to explore

A**holes across from us in 24 blasted music until quiettime. Forced site across from them to move because they were so loud. Also urinal in men's bathroom still needs fixed. Could have been a great stay otherwise.

We had site number 23 which has a lot of privacy. There is no or little cell service. An exceptionally nice campground, Lagoon is very small, very clean. Nice flush toilets, no shower. No hookups stall. Water spigots placed conveniently. Very well maintained. Next to beautiful pond with lots of wildlife viewing and viewing platforms. Numerous trails. Close secluded beach access. Diverse recreation opportunities. Very quiet.

Campground was clean, bathrooms had soap, neighbors were quiet and nice. Had doggy pickup bags available and dumpster for after. Only complaint was that urinal in men's restroom was broken.

This is our new favorite campground on the coast. It's gorgeous, it's clean, it's quiet and the majority of sites allow a greater degree of privacy than we have found in other nearby campgrounds. The hosts are very nice and helpful, and we had such a great time here.
