Campsite was littered with garbage and dog waste. The camp host must not be doing his / her job. The firepit was full of plastic and other garbage. The white campsite numbers painted on the asphalt could not be read due to the piles of pine needles on the ground. There was no soap in the restroom. Makes a person question exactly what they are paying for with the camping fees.

The location is great, near the lagoon, and we visited during the winter, which was quiet and peaceful. Close to the beach, attractions, and a great overall camping spot.

Great experience as always. I've been camping here for about 6 years. My fav place on the coast.

This campground is quiet due to some nearby wildlife protection areas. Not a lot of OTV activity in the immediate vicinity. There are nice trails going to the beach, about a mile away. There are trees and shaded areas, nature walks. You can hear the ocean all day and night, feel the cool breeze and ocean air. Some sites are bigger than others, but most are adequate.

Camp site was very small. Put down there would be 2 vehicles and couldn't get both on the parking pad without one hanging out into the driving lane. Camped there to fish the beach and no fish cleaning area so had to clean the fish 65 over 3 days in camp

There should be greater geographic restrictions on 4 wheelers in Jesse Honeyman State park just to the north of Lagoon Campground. The roar of engines greatly detracted from the beauty and quiet of Lagoon Campground... and was very distracting for any nature lover or birdwatcher. It just felt quite unfair.

Wish the womens bathroom would have been open. Other than that everything was great

We showed up Friday night about 8:00 pm to our campsite, #20 and another RV was in there. She stated that she had been there since Thursday and had also booked the site for Friday as well. We double checked our receipt and ensured that we had booked the site Friday and Saturday. The lady refused to leave and the camp host was off duty. We ended up staying in a nearby empty site for the night. The lady left our spot around 6:30 am Saturday morning.
