We had a great family trip to horsfall campground. We did lots of riding in the dune, did the bluebill trail hike and visited the umpqua light house. Lots to do and see in the area, highly recommend.

Campsite is under maintained , weeds were high, picnic tables are in very poor condition . Men’s bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper or hand soap for the first half of our trip . Men’s urinal was inoperative the entire trip . Camp host changed halfway through our stay , and bathrooms got better , first host seemed to be taking advantage of the job responsibilities. This was our 6th time staying , and we enjoy our time there , but it needs maintenance and a responsible camp host to make sure things under their watch are handled . It’s not a cheap site to stay at considering no hookups , so what’s there should be in it’s best condition . And one other point , something should be looked at for mosquito remediation, the mosquitoes were terrible this year , not a campground issue obviously, but an Oregon parks and recreation issue
