Our camp host and hostess were very helpful and nice to work with. They often helped campers with issues and solved it promptly. He even helped a new camper figure how to put up a tent! They offered info and assistance often. It was a very nice experience.

We arrived at check in to find our reserved HANDICAP camp sites occupied by several vehicles without handicap identification and the owners of the vehicles no where to be found. The Host seemed very dismissive or even hostile that we had reserved the sites requesting proof in the form of a reservation number only and would not accept the purchase receipt, my account sign in showing the reservation, nor the website showing the sites were reserved. After I was able to locate the reservation email from 6 months prior that had the reservation number the host became upset and said we had to wait until the illegally parked vehicles owners arrived. As a severely physically disabled person I do not like when people who do not need the accessibility parking spots use them. I called the non emergency sheriffs number and reported the vehicles. Later finding out they were friends of the host who didnt think someone who is actually disabled would reserve the sites. Our experience with the host was the worst weve ever experienced and I am planning on reporting them to the forestry department.

Several of the days we didn't have an on-duty camp host. People were running generators till midnight. People were driving quads and UTV's in and out of camp till 2 am several nights. One night somebody started a bike and kept revving it up loudly past midnight. I was disappointed with this and will think twice before coming back. We've never had this problem in Florence at Driftwood 2 campground.

Had everything we needed for our trip. I was not aware that it was directly attached to the sand dunes and resulted in people riding recreational vehicles late into the night. For people looking to bring and sleep in tents I suggest looking at the map and booking sites on the ends of the rows when possible. I did like that there were fire pits at all sites so we were able to have fires each night.

Sites are cramped with no privacy, tent sites are literally a parking spot in a huge paved lot with a small grassy median to pitch your tent. Proximity to the beach and dunes was fantastic however and the bathrooms (which also had showers) were clean and convenient. This would be a great spot if you have a rig but I wouldn't recommend it for tents.

The website states that water is available to fill your trailer, but when we went to fill up our trailer with water, the camp host stated that wasnt allowed. Having the showers only open between 8-2pm is inconvenient after rising out on the dunes all day. The camp host did not do anything to enforce the quiet time at the campground and neither did any ranger. Generators were running after midnight. We were never checked in for our campsite.

Camped here for year, unfortunately they only allow showering from 8am-2pm. That's my biggie complaint.

Restrooms and showers need better attention. Many times the toilet paper ran out or the toilets plugged for half a day

Only thing is that after a day of playing it would be nice if showers were available at night and a little earlier in morning . We like this location because so close to town. Enjoyed the farmers market on Wednesday.

We camp at Horsfall at least once a year. This year the site was well maintained as usual. The Camp Host was nowhere to be found. Water to the showers was off, no Camp Host to check on it.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
