A beautiful campground

Great campsites next to the glorious dunes. First time being here but will definitely be back! Plenty of resources nearby.

This was the worst campsite I have ever visited. And even though the site was strewn with garbage, debris from recent attempts to prune the (still) overgrown shrubs, and the the lack of level ground for my vehicle or the provided table, the rather foggy-headed camp host refused to let us move to any of the 20 or more other empty sites. I camp the coast several times each year and though this was my first visit to Eel Creek, I will certainly never go back.

Bathrooms were shut down. Had a large hornet nest in the ground at my camp asked staff if they had anything to kill them they stated nope you'll just have to deal with it. My kid got stung multiple times. Camp spot was smaller then shown in the pictures.

Campsites were relatively private and access to the dunes was nice.. There was supposed to be potable water and flushing toilets but they were having water issues which it did state when I booked. However, the pit toilets were over flowing. It was very disgusting and unsanitary. I had been camping for free on BLM Land on my way to this area and it was way more sanitary digging a hole for bodily waste.
