Rancheria campground is wonderful to stay in. I wish they would take down the marked trees so our favorite campsites would be open for all to enjoy.

We love going to Huntington Lake for vacation each year! This is the first time in years that we stayed at Rancheria Campground. The trash dumpsters are only emptied once a week and need to be emptied at least 2 times a week, camp host would lock them when full. Trash would build up!!! Not a fan of the camp host, we got in late and he had to take a tape measure to see if our rig would fit in at 38ft campsite, we are 27ft.

I would have rated it excellent but for the EXTREME NOISE! The next door camper ran a generator most of the day and into the night, and the heavy metal concert in the campsite about 50 feet away was horrible! The campground really needs some better noise rules! Hard to understand folks that go to the mountains, then sit inside a camper and watch TV with a generator running outside. Otherwise, and nice campground and great camp hosts. I would favor the campground putting in power to make generators unnecessary and to set up loud music rules. It makes a nice mountain campground have the feel of an urban street! Yuck!!! Probably I won't stay there again unless they put some better noise rules in place.
