This was our 4th year in Rancheria and it was not as nice as the previous 3 visits. We noticed trash in the fire pit, around the sites, and during our walks. In the past you knew exactly the time of day the restrooms were cleaned, twice, this time, I'm not sure they were cleaned maybe every few days. We enjoy our time here and can look past all this, but, it wasn't our best visit.

We LOVE Rancheria. We stay there every year. It is our one main family vacation trip a year. That being said while we had a great time as always there were some major downsides this year. The flush toilets went out because a well pump went out. The toilets and pump failures were not preventable issues, but the camp host reaction to them and there management's reaction is preventable. The campground was crowded so the systems will be taxed, maybe install some more flush units or more vault units. Hosting staff should be vetted better for customer service. There was one gentle that wouldn't stop and did the absolute minimum to communicate and deal with campground issues. He went as far as to say nothing was his problem cause he was off till thursday. However his wife is an all-star and was a breathe of fresh air. When the toilets and water system went down there was no communication from host or management. Only one set of flush toilets were locked increasing the strain on the remaining set. No signs communicating what was going on or what facilities were affected to location of what was still available.

The look of the campground is a little scruffy right now with all the tree cutting going on. However, we are just so happy it's still partially open for the rest of the season. Great camp host, friendly and accommodating every time we crossed paths. Views are great and as always clean rest rooms and lots of people enjoying the beauty of this gem of the Sierras.

beautiful place to visit, Park employees were great and very freindly. I loved the park. The only issue we had with the park is that we had reserved from Thursday till the following Wednesday, unfortunately on Saturday by accident we found out the park was closing on Monday due to logging. I had rented an RV and I ended up returning it three days early and loose lots of money. I tried other parks but they were all full or had to reserve 48 hours in advance.
