Excellent Fishing this year. Last year was poor probably due to lack of operational fish hatcheries which resulted in less number of fish plantings. This year there was also a large number of campsite closures within the campground which also helped the fishing experience.

We have camped at Rancheria many times over the years. Only a small portion of the campground was open, the rest was closed due to hazardous trees. The hazardous tree situation has been ongoing for several years now.

The cleanest grounds and restrooms I've ever seen, thanks to the camp hosts Shane and Vickie.

We were beyond happy to go back Rancheria this year! The campground got cleaned up really well! The hosts Juan and another female ( sorry, don’t remember her name) we’re very informative and helpful. When our trailer couldn’t be accommodated at the site we reserved, Juan was prompt to help figure it out another site . We had to go to the registration booth and talked to Stephanie about it. She was another great employee that went above and beyond to help us . She’s super nice and accommodating also.
Back at the campsite , Peter, another host , was always doing his rounds cleaning the bathrooms and making sure to stop and chat for a while. We loved his energy! We have been going to Rancheria for 30 years and we’ve never seen the bathrooms this clean! Unfortunately you will find those jerk campers who don’t care about the premises and would do things against the rule…. but for most part , we had a great 5 day trip. Every host was very pleasant and helpful. I like that they would still patrol the grounds even past 10:00, making sure things were running smoothly.
This time we didn’t rent a pontoon because it was too many of us, but we never had any problems doing it so. Up to 2 years ago, the people at the marina we’re also very helpful.
There is also Rancheria Falls if you enjoy hiking and also Mushroom Rock to visit.
We can’t wait to go back again!!!
