The camp grounds were very clean, and the site was pretty nice . We stayed close to the restrooms and the flood lights in the bathroom stayed on long after occupants left which was annoying as it shined brightly through my tent. We stayed at camp 39 which was only a 3 min walk to the lake. Overall it was a great time, but it would be great if they had electric hook ups , but it's fine as long as it stays cheaper than Edison.

Bathrooms were full of flies and we found the area close to the lake a little dirty. The campground is dominated by RVs. If you are tent camping I would avoid it.

The camp was awesome. I would have loved to stay longer than two nights to enjoy the lake and scenery. We were reminded about bears upon entering and were given clear instructions on food boxes and our essentials. Next time I will reserve a double next time as the spot we had was quite small for my children to run around.

LOVED THIS CAMPGROUND! The area is beautiful right next to Shaver Lake and check in was so simple! Having the small town right down the road was so convenient for any last minute needs! The one thing I wished they would have enforced a little bit more was noise at night there were a few large groups of family or friends that were pretty spread out across the campsites so once night time hit they were LOUD and walking back and forth to different sites. But my husband went again a few weeks later and said it was perfect!

Love this place! Been coming back over the years because it is a great spot. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating and the place is clean and beautiful. We swim, fish, kayak, and float during the day and have even rented boats and jet skis from a few of the companies up there.
