#64 worked out for us but I can see it being an issue for others. Drive way is not very big and is parellel to the main driving loop so youre somewhat forced to park more on the dirt area even though policy requires you to be on the paved path. The site is on a slope so be warned. There's 2 relatively flat areas at the top of the slope and 2 at the bottom where you can setup a tent. The fire ring is positioned really high at the top of the campground because of how the site is on a slope.A lot of the vault restrooms were closed and had portapotties available stationed infront of it. #64 is right next to the camp host so that could be a plus or negative depending on how you view it. Now for the best part of the site which I find to make all the small negatives not matter. #64 is right on the pathway that leads you to the creek. There is a nice swimming hole thats really secluded from everyone else. We brought our fishing poles and small cooler and just relaxed there for majority of the day. 4/5 rating for this site.

Had another great year of making memories. Some campsites did not have flushing toilets due to the water levels but porta potties were allowed. Water for campfires was available. We drove up to the Mc Kinley Giant Sequoias, not far from camp, 20 minutes max. Worth it! Meat flies were visiting this year and stinky traps were set about. Hosts dud a great job at keeping noise levels at bay on a busy father's day weekend!

#64 did not disappoint. We could hear the creek running and had our own fresh spring flowing downhill. To be fair the campsite main area is mostly downhill. There's a flat and shaded spot for tent a little ways down hill with wild orchids growing everywhere. Dinkey Creek is just a 5 minute walk downhill. We tried fishing and gold panning. We saw deer. People walked through the campsite on their way to Creek. This tends to be annoying because there are paths on either side of campsite. The host did not mind that I parked on the dirt, as there is not a paved driveway, like other sites.

Our family of 3, including the doggo, is happy to have spent another Father's day here this year. I enjoyed meeting the neighboring site, family of 2. Wished I would of gotten the contact info!

Where to start? Got the absolute worst site, unpaved, blocked by rocks, on a super steep slant. Rocks were used to level the picnic table. Every single other campsite, which cost the same amount, was paved and clean. It also claimed on the website that it was paved, so I don't know why we got some ghetto dirt lot. Then, the camp hosts were awful. Insisted we park IN the road, which is ridiculous when everyone else got a paved spot in their camp area. The older gentleman who was our camp host was on an absolute power trip. He stopped several times to berate us for silly things, he just couldn't stop himself from trying to get some imagined upper hand. He was awful to the other campers as well, I felt bad for all our neighbors. On top of that they were unhelpful and our campsite was not clean when we checked in. Beware loop F. Absolute nightmare of a camping experience, would NEVER stay here again. However the day use is wonderful and the creek is so fun, so its worth the 10 dollar entrance fee to play for the day. And we also camped at Huntington which was an amazing experience, and we had the best camp hosts there, so kind and lovely. The hosts at Dinkey could learn something from other hosts about common courtesy and human decency!
