Camp rangers and staff at the store are all very nice. Nice drive with meadows and wildflowers.

The camp sites are spaced apart well. The bathrooms are very nice and clean with flush toilets and running water at the sink. The host's were very friendly and helpful.

We asked for a reservation at the gate, told that the disabled veterans rate was $18 and then paid another $20 for our three vehicles. We took one look at the site and people near us shooting compound bows and being I the sun and left immediately. We were told there were no refunds. We were there for 5 minutes.

Very good time,but need to install bear boxes and have trash bins locked. There were 3 bears in camp and we were concerned for tent campers. Also there should be a daily posting up front so when you enter the campground you know the activity of the bears. It would be nice if camp host would tell of weather changes . There was snow and no one came to let us know it was in the forecast. At the National parks they give you a warning then you can decide if you want to stay. Thanks

I understand the situation with the water availability but when you shut down the flush toilets and supplement them with port-a-potties ya need to do a better job servicing them. They should have been serviced before the weekend crowd arrived, thus the reason we left early. The people working there were not the problem at all!

Big sites, clean bathrooms, fun creek to explore, close to Shaver lake. Unfortunately the G loop has had most of its trees die off, so there is very little shade - that was the only disappointment about this campground. The highlight for our family was exploring Shaver lake which is about a 20 minute drive. There is a dirt road (Fishing Club Road) that goes around the south side of the lake. We stopped at several places on the road and hiked down to secluded beaches with great swimming spots and rocks to jump off of.
