This year camp hosts were great.! My main complaint is that we always try and get campsites by the bathroom, since we have little kids and one with special needs, we were very surprised not in the good way that the bathroom by our campsite was changed, and now theyre not flushing bathrooms, pretty gross because of the amount of people on these campsites that use them and the bathrooms not being clean that often it was pretty dirty and very smelly, me and my children did not used them and decided to walk to our closest flushing toilet it wasnt convenient at all specially at night, its already hard to camp without electricity, showers, internet and now without flushing toilets, Ive would of appreciated an email letting me know about this, we would of most likely cancel, were hoping you guys dont change the last remaining flushing toilets so we dont have to stop going here to camp we love it there .! But flushing toilets are a must and more with special needs.

We were very disappointed to find that the restrooms in our loop were changed to outhouses. We purposely planned to be near them. Next year well choose a different loop and hope it doesnt change too. Also, cleaning out the fire pits and doing some raking in the campsite would have been nice. It seems there isnt any maintenance like their use to be.

Campsite 61 was nice and private for the most part, bathroom lights were very bright and lit up the whole campsite at night. Check-in was kind of a pain because the campground was undermanned as far as the staff.

We drove into Dinkey Creek from the San Gabriel Valley hoping that the campground was sparred by the recent wildfires. On the way up, we saw acres of forest burned up not far from our destination. The light layer of smoke still lingering, we kept our hopes up. Finally arriving at Dinkey Creek, we were pleasantly surprised. The campground was huge. Our site hugged the eastern edge which was a short walk to the creek. Loop E, I think. Very nice restrooms nearby kept immaculate by the friendly rangers. The creek and its natural rock slides made for very nice hikes or walks along them. Although, the light layer of smoke 3 out of the 4 days we stayed and the ban on campfires which really put a damper on things at night especially if you're tent camping, we really fell in love with this campground. We will definitely return many times in the future.
