I love Dinkey Creek campgrounds, we found out about it after camping at Yosemite for many years- during the fires a few years back our reservation was canceled and we got last minute site at Dinkey and we've returned every year since! We don't even bother woth Yosemite anymore. The sites are clean and well kept, bathrooms are clean/uncrowded, camp hosts are always friendly and the river is a short walk/hike away. It's very family and dog friendly and we look forward to staying every year.

People who come here dont seem to enjoy the wilderness. All night long loud music, and laser shows. In addition lots of trash around the campsites. Seems as if all they do is sweep around the campfire but dont pick up the trash left in the bushes. Easy to say next time I come here I wont be spending the night.Aside from the camping experience, the wilderness is beautiful once you get outside of the campground area

Camp was dirty. People littering everywhere. Dirty diapers and trash all over the place. To crowded. And loud. I think it should be closed off for just campers only and not day use at all. I have been coming here for 36 years and it has gotten worse and worse. I feel bad for the camp hosts. Ron and Pat were great hosts!

Check in and check out were seamless. The campground and bathrooms were very clean. Well run!

The campgrounds and campsite were GREAT and the staff was amazing. Unfortunately, we did not realize there was no potable water at the campgrounds to fill our trailer. We scrabbled, survived and got our tank filled. We would have driven there with a full water tank otherwise. The website should have been very clear about that. THIS is now one of our favorite all time campgrounds. Highly recommended.
