Lovely campground. We had a spot next to the bathrooms which was convenient for us as we had small kids. Even though we were right next to the bathrooms, there was almost no bathroom smells. Our particular site felt fairly private and had plenty of space and the host, Larry was very nice. The campground does get pretty full and many other sites don't have the privacy ours did and might have a decent walk to the bathrooms.

Camping at Summerdale made for one great Yosemite adventure. My son and I found the campground to be clean and friendly. It had the perfect amount of sun, shade and privacy. We will definitely camp there again in the future.

Beautiful campground! There is lots of space in between camp spots so you are not in each others space. There are frequent bathrooms and water spickets. The camp host is super nice and very helpful. There was even a creek and a waterfall at this campsite. Overall it was an amazing experience and it was only like 5 minutes from the Yosemite park entry! Way better than camping inside the park!

The campsites have large curbs which dont allow backing at an angle into the site. We had to give up our site and camp in the overflow parking lot this time. We used to enjoy this campground regularly but its feeling crimped and small. Too bad.

The only thing my wife didn't like was cold, we went there when the weather changed and our nights were 20 to 30 but, besides that everything was wonderful. We tried to set up a another couple days later on but everything is booked out.

Nice place. Quiet, well kept. Nice change from the Yosemite Valley, less people and a nice experience.

My favorite all-time spot in outside of Yosemite Valley. I have been back many times. Don't ask me about the secret waterfall nearby ;)

The host were a couple and were great! Super friendly and helpful. The site was clean close to the entrance and right next to the restroom. But there wasnt trees to put up a hammock or shade so bring your shade.
