This location is easy to access, the campsite is beautiful, and super close to Yosemite if that is what you're travelling her for. There's also a fabulous restaurant a few miles down the road - Narrow Gauge Inn.

Campground is beautiful, lots of trees and meadows. A creek runs through the west side of the campground which makes for pleasant background noise, fishing and wading on a hot day. Campsites are spaced apart at a fair distance so you don’t feel on top of your neighbor. Rather Close to the south entrance of Yosemite which makes it very convenient.
Campground hosts were very nice and informative. They are extremely cautious of wildfire threats so they are diligent about making sure your campfires are not too big.

Things to note:
-They have pit toilets, one of which was filled with flies and bugs and a constant smell. To the camp hosts credit they tried everything they could to keep it clean and bug free but the heat seem to make it worse. I used the other set of toilets near the entrance which were very clean.
-We camped at site 14 which had a copious amount of bugs, could be the time of year we camped, could have been that the site was next to the pit toilets, could have been the incredibly large piles of branches, tree stumps and kindle all over the campground floor from clean up of winter storms. Who knows, but it was hard to enjoy the site at certain times during the day and I got bit a lot so bring your bug repellents!
- No showers or sinks, and they prefer you not wash your dishes or anything else for that matter at the water spigots so come prepared.
