The camp host and hostess were very friendly and attentive to the camp. No mosquitoes when we were there. We would like to return.

Love this campground in general. Spot 11 is a nice spot surrounded by high grass in August. Wooden table and fire pit in site.

It was a good spot… short drive to Yosemite. I liked it.

This campground in sierra National Forest is only 1.5 miles from Yosemite's southern gate. It is relatively quiet ( except for the the highway, but this is minor). The sites are big with a good sized central area that prevents the campsites from being too small, which is a common problem in nps sites. It is 20 minutes from the town of Oakhurst which has all of the amenities you would need. The food is expensive in that town, but very good. I would recommend this site when visiting Yosemite over the nps sites. It is only 10 minutes from the Mariposa grove of giant sequoias in Yosemite. A word of warning the road is very curvy and tight on the way to the site.
