Calm and well maintained campground. The camphost was friendly and helpful, bathrooms were clean. We totally recommend campsite no. 13 with a view at the lake.

Great Location Near Bass Lake Clean and Quiet CampgroundSpring Cove Campground is in an awesome spotright across the road from Bass Lake, which makes for easy access to the water without being right in the middle of the crowds. Even though it was a busy weekend, our campsite felt peaceful and relatively private, which was a pleasant surprise.The campground itself was well maintained. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The only downside is that there are no showers on-site, but if you're in need, there are public showers available just a short drive away at Millers Landing.All in all, a great location for a relaxing stay near the lake!

The campground host Steven was very helpful in answering questions and making sure we had the best camping experience. Restrooms were clean.

This campsite is a 5 minute walk from the lake. No drinking water but theres a little store close. The camp site manager Steven was so kind and chill and helpful! Campsite 14 has a beautiful view of the lake. Some spots can get toasty during summer so try and look online for shaded sites. Really such a spectacular stay!!! We LOVED bass lake and spring cove!!!! Gorgeous. You can rent a boat or other fun stuff from Millers landing a 5 minute drive or 15 ish minute walk from the grounds. Also check out Buckhorn Saloon for drinks and very friendly open atmosphere they serve food there some days too. Reception is spotty but our phones adjusted the 2nd night or so. It was very hot! The lake cooled us off but be sure to shade yourself and stay hydrated. If you walk to the edge rocks by the lake you can get clearer water with less people and little kids around if youre looking for something more private.

Its a beautiful section of bass lake. Everything is close and walking distance to miller landing. Plus has several areas to go hiking around your campsite.

Camp host was wonderful!! It was our first time camping and our host answered all of our questions and as first timers we had a lot. He gave us a lot of tips on how camping works and where to go to find what we are looking for he has personalized recommendations for every one. We got campsite number 37 at the last minute just out of sure luck I'm guessing it was a cancellation it was the only one available so I was expecting the worse. When we arrived it exceeded our expectations. It had shade, a picnic table under the trees, a nicely placed fire pit, it was very close to the bathroom and water spigot which was a plus for us and it was towards the back away from the main road.

The lake is so beautiful and the campground is extremely clean. I loved everything about the trip except the fact that the mosquitoes were unbearable at our campsite. We couldnt even be at our campsite unless we were inside of our tent. We ended up spending all of our time by the lake or away from our campsite because of the mosquitoes. The camp host did acknowledge that they were bad this year but yikes. It was unfortunate because we love the lake and all the amenities.

We spent 5 days at Spring Cove and had a great time! Steve and his wife (camp host) were great and do an amazing job keeping the camp grounds clean. They are friendly and so helpful with any questions we had. Be sure to bring tons of bug spray! Mosquitos are in full force!

Clean and quiet just like it was 60 years ago when I first camped here with my parents. Camp host, Stephen was extremely friendly, helpful, and very caring, going above and beyond to check on us, two senior widows. Close to Yosemite.

Our family reserved our camping spots months in advance. Our areas were overgrown, about waist high. We had to wait a long time, the lady clearing the area asked for help/backup she was told she could handle it. And because the weeds were so high, it aggravated the mosquitoes even more. I hope whomever had our spots later had a better experience since it was cut down for us.We were told not to bring wood in and the wood we purchased from the camp host was infested with some type of beetle

We loved this campground! We had site 50 and site 30, about a 2 minute walk from each other. Site 30 was moderately secluded with a nice woodsy background and close to the bathroom. Site 50 was a larger corner lot and more secluded but a bit more mosquitos. Definitely bring bug spray, citronella candles and bug nets if you have them! It was so nice to be less than a 5 minute walk from Bass Lake to swim/ float. Even for a holiday weekend, it was busy but not too crowded or too loud. Millers store for essentials and ice cream and water activities was a 5 minute drive. Steve the campground host was wonderful! Firewood also available for purchase on site. We loved it and will definitely be back!

My family and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. Once we got there, we ran into Stephen that helped us find our campsite. Stephen was very helpful and kind. The location of this campground is GREAT. I've camped a lot over the years and this location is great because you are truly in the middle of a forest. We will definitely be making this campground a yearly trip from now on!

Plenty of shade! Kept clean and well tended. I really love the addition of the bear boxes for each site!! I do wish they were ALL level at each site, and in front of each site, as not all are. And VERY happy to see trash being taken out on Fridays, as it helps with the bear precautions to have empty bins prior to starting the busy weekends so that trash doesnt end up overflowing and the bear-safe dumpsters stay closed at night. Wish it was also taken out on Mondays or Tuesdays to help with holiday weekend trash traffic!

My family has been camping at Bass Lake for 4 generations, starting with my Granny, who first came up to the lake to escape the hot valley summers. We always chose Spring Cove campsite, due to the convenient access to Rocky Point Day Use. There are bathrooms located on every loop, and the sites are shady and mostly of a good size for tent camping. The recently installed bear boxes are a welcome addition- no more worrying about the bears stealing your steaks ( I know this one from first hand experience!).If you are looking for a great place to take your family at Bass Lake, this is the place. Year after year, 99% of the time, we have been greeted by friendly camp hosts, settled into our favorite sites and have had a wonderful time.

Make sure to go straight to recreation office for camping to get checked in then after go to ur campsite. Staff is very nice and will give you information you need. FYI bring $10 for firewood! you have to buy it there. there are about 4 bears active but i didnt see any although a couple car alarms went off in the night. 057 campsite is very nice and its close to the entrance with lake nearby. 057 does NOT have a bear box and the bench is a little broken on one side.

Site was very nice and had good room for our tents. Good shade but with the weather being 110 degrees, we stayed at the water mostly. having the restroom near by was also nice. Finding the site was the only tricky part. having more signs at the entrance to tell you which drive service which site would be very helpful since the paper map in the front is small and can be hard to understand. We spent 20 minutes looking for the site and driving around the dead end until we found it by process of elimination. A minor thing once you know your way around but major if it's your first time. With that being the only trouble we had, we loved our time there and would recommend the site to others.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
