The campground has a wonderful of view of lake. The restroom is very clean but there arent any showers (you have to use the public showers which are located in another campground cost 4$ - they are clean).

This was my first time staying at the Forks Campground and it will definitely not be my last. The campground is well kept and quiet. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. The campground is just walking distance to the Forks restaurant/store (really good food). Down the road maybe 10 minutes is Millers Landing. The campgrounds is 10 minutes from Oakhurst and about an hour to Tunnel View in Yosemite. If you are looking to go camping by yourself, with some friends or your family, Forks Campground is the place to go. What more can you as for a place that over looks Bass Lake.

We went to this campground for out recently completed camping 11 June to 13 June 2021 & our experience was good.
We were on site#26 , this site location is perfect lake view location, only cons was no shade & in warm weather, there is no way to hide except if you have canopy or umbrellas to use, but site location is perfect for two tents, we used one 9*7 & one 10*12 tent & good space for two car parking.
This campground is small & easy to reach very clean flushable Restrooms, from our site restroom was just approx 50-60 steps away.
One more plus advantage of this Forks campground , this has Goat Mountain Trail way & it is only 200 steps approx away from this camp site#26.
This Goat Mountain Trail is very good trail for hiking, not for stroller & have good woods shaddy path.
Bass lake was very walking distance approx 0.5 or less miles. overall this trip was awesome & this place & campground was 5 star.

Loved our time at this campground! Lots of beautiful campsites, many with lake views. Bathrooms were super clean and all the sites were well maintained. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and took a lot of pride in keeping the place tidy. There is a dump station, water station, restaurant, general store, and boat rental walking distance from the campground. The road rimming the lake is not busy and we enjoyed a few bike rides to explore different parts of the lake. There is a trailhead in the campground for Goat Mountain trail which was gorgeous with lots of spring flowers and we even saw a bald eagle! Lots of hawks and not too many squirrels at this campground. There are easy points to access the lake walking or bike riding distance from the campground. highly recommend! Do be aware that some of the camp sites have uneven parking if you're in an RV. we had spotty cell signal with AT&T and Verizon.
