Great campground! We were at 005 and we secluded relatively speaking so we loved it.

Very nice rangers explaining how to get to campsite, fun hikes, and closest bathrooms. We did have to walk through 2 other sites to get to our walk in site. About a 2 minute walk to the bathroom and water. Bathrooms were very clean. The site was pretty overgrown so we felt closer in at times.

Lovely campground- nice private tenting sites around the perimeter- I wish I knew how private they were when making reservations- esp #10-15. Nice and clean, great campstore, can walk to Wayside (1 mile) that had very good food.

We loved this campground! The walk-in sites all around the perimeter were so great, we felt completely happy in our beautiful secluded spot. Also very much appreciated our very own bear box, and the excellent pay-per-use showers/laundry facility next to the camp store.

I love Loft Campground!! Still needs some maintenance like most federal campgrounds but adding bear boxes which is great!!! The guy at the check in was really nice. The camp store still one of the best stocked in Shenandoah. Showers are very clean and hot water!!!! The AT runs right on the perimeter so you have access to great hiking without leaving the campground. My favorite campground in Shenandoah.

The campsite 005 was excellent. There was plenty of room, the bear bin was spacious, and the area was clear of any trash or debris that would have deterred from the beautiful scenery. The entire Loft Mtn. Site was beautiful. Quiet, spacious, and excellent facilities. Especially the Camp Store, the service staff were extremely friendly and helpful. That is one of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground!

Bathrooms were absolutely filthy, showers unusable and the fee to shower is absolutely way too high. Would not recommend to anyone

We camped for three nights here at the loft campground and had a great time. The place is kept very clean and everything you need to know and understand is communicated with you by the rangers. Plan to come back to this site in the future!

Beautiful and quiet! Two minor improvements:Layout of the walk-in sites was a little weird though, we had to walk through the middle of someone else's campsite to get to ours. Not great as we're usually up very early. The showers close for an hour each day, which we weren't told about until we went to use them. Would be good if that info was posted in the washrooms at our campground, or if rangers told you at check-in.
