Clean and neat campsites. Bathrooms were well maintained. Spectacular location for people who like to walk/hike. Nice camp store with showers

Loft Mountain is a great campground at SNP to explaoe the southern section of the park. Great tent campsites, easy to dispose of trash and recycling!Super efficient check in and ease to get to campsite.

The stars! They were amazing. Wildlife was unafraid to approach which was both unnerving and neat. We kept our distance. The Ranger at check in was extremely helpful, he brought up a concern that our site may be difficult to get into due to the length of our rig and offered us to switch to a non-reservable site if we wanted. Which we were fine and didnt end up doing that, but we appreciated his offer! The shower and toilet facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the campground store was amazing! The site was large and private as it was very wooded. It was also not crowded there when we visited. We had a great time just sitting around the fire, admiring the cosmos.

Spent a rainy evening here recently. The rangers at check-in were very nice and informative. A campground map was provided. The restrooms were clean and had plumbing. The only reason for a star deduction was that my campsite was VERY close to a couple so much that they had to whisper!

lavish living style compared to most camping experiences. heated bathrooms and spacious camp sites. the top of the mountain is optimal for star gazing in the evening and a great start for hikes during the day time.

Campground and park were both nice. A little tight for larger vehicles. The one thing that irked me was the reservation process. We reserved online and the site we reserved turned out to be in a zone that didn't allow generators at anytime. Had we been alerted to that in the reservation process we would have either chosen a different site, or brought a solar panel to charge up the house batteries in our motorhome during the day. As it was we barely had enough juice for a 2-night stay.
