The campground is well maintained and is neat. There are plenty of trails to follow. The Doyle river and jones river are great places to trek. The campsite is something that you should avoid. this is very small and has no food locker as well. Furthermore it is in a place where you will find a good place to pitch the tent. better avoid this site

The campground is extremely small. There is barely space for 1 4 person tent. Avoid this space if you have more than 1 tent, or an RV.

Stupid survey is not Apple friendly! Campsites are in poor condition, drive ways need resurfacing, campsites are not tent tent friendly. The minimal services and amenities provided are a sham. Dont know where the increased fee funds are going but administration needs to get its act together!

The campground is great for people who like privacy and the feeling of camping in the woods. Our site was surrounded by trees and foliage with the next site several yards away. We were there when it rained and our site got really muddy - the down side of being in the woods where there's less grass. On the plus side, bathrooms and water are readily available although there are no electric or water hookups. Our cell service was OK (T-Mobile) but others weren't as lucky. You do need a flashlight to get around at night as it's pitch black out. It's also dead quiet after 10. There are several excellent trails accessible through the campground. I recommend reserving a site in advance. There are several that cannot be reserved but you can switch to any other one that's still available when you get there.

Great campground.
Some nuisance gnats in late afternoon.
Stayed 2 days and shower cost $1.75 the first day but went up to $2.50 the next day. Unfortunately there was no indication as such until you went to put the quarters in and it didn't work. Had to get redressed and ask store clerk. They said new signs haven't been made yet.
We suggested that don't raise the price without notifying the people somehow first.
