Love the bear-proof boxes in the individual campsites! Makes storing/retrieving food so much easier than using one's car.

Overall, this campground was fantastic. Very peaceful despite being pretty full. However, this particular site should NOT be open to trailers. You have to go down a one way, but the spot faces the same way as the one way, so in order to back in, I had to go to the end, back up and pull in against traffic. Then I had to exit completely going against traffic because there was no way to safely go out the correct way. This one should be only available to vans or tent camping due to safety.

I was forced to cancel this reservation due to Pres. Trump banning visitors from the UK as a result of COVID 19 perfectly understandable. However I was astonished when the parks department still charged me a $10 cancellation fee.
I have camped at Loft Mountain several times before & found it to be excellent. What a shame for this meanness.
