Very quiet and peaceful. Arrived in time for an evening walk and enjoyed the beautiful views. The campsites were well spaced and very clean. We did not use any of the facilities.

We loved our site, it was hidden behind trees and insulated from noise and smoke. We camped in late August outside of main season (October) and had very few neighbors. The ranger at the kiosk was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were excited to find showers at the camp store buildings that were clean & fancy! We would absolutely stay here again!

Camping was perfect here. My site was surrounded by woods with only a path into it. I came in on a Monday and it was very quiet with only a couple other campers near by on Wednesday it started filling in but each site was spaced nicely and noise was not an issue. Hiking along the AT that goes around the campground was beautiful with lots of scenic overlooks. Lots of trails to choose from nearby as well! The most amazing part for me was how the deer were everywhere! They would follow their path eating the berries and foliage in the morning and the evening. They would come very close so I was able to grab a few good pics and videos of them too. It was a very peaceful relaxing experience and I cant wait to visit again!

Campground was very quiet and the campsites were well-maintained. Bathroom were very well-maintained. Seem like there was only one small hiking trail that was part of the 80 at this campsite if you’re looking for more adventure I would go to the different one.

Camp site was awesome! Amenities and access to trail heads was excellent. Staff at camp office was rude and unhelpful. Good overall national park camping experience!
