Excellent site at a wonderful, fairly quiet campground. Highly recommended. Be sure to get there early if you plan to purchase firewood. The store closes very early and they dont have any wood at the check-in desk.

Great campground in the heart of Shenandoah National Park. We did not have an electric site but we came with a generator so no issues. Restrooms and showers were clean, visitor center good and the staff was awesome. Will definitely come back and recommend.

Didnt get eaten by a bear, was bullied off the trail by a young buck. The other graciously let us pass by.

This was a great place to visit!! But, kind of have the things you want to do planned out. It will take you a while to get to them if they are off the mountain.

We loved Loft Mountain. We did lots of hiking and exploring in the area. Be aware that hikes that are rated as easy can be challenging with lots of scrambling over rocks. The volunteer ranger was very accommodating and helpful with information. Our site was beautiful and large but had trees that made it difficult to position our trailer in the designated area.

Loft Mtn was a great place to get away and feel relaxed. It was not crowded due to COVID distancing measures and was thankful the Park system is taking those measures to put peoples minds at ease. We will be back soon.

Loft Mountain Campground was very nice. The spaces were spacious and really pretty. We didn't use the bathrooms, but they looked clean.

Nice campground, though almost all of the spots bring pull-through caught us a bit off guard. Still, well maintained and a great stay following Mathews Arm and Big Meadows, both also great campgrounds.
