Amenities were clean and working condition. Sky land horseback riding was excellent and well managed. Horseback riding staff were also excellent.Lodge dining at big meadows and Skyland was nice but food has gone downhill since years ago when Aramark managed the restaurants and even before Aramark. Food was terrible with few choices, small portions, and lacking in flavor. Please overhaul the dining situation.

Wonderful landscapes, wonderful sites and close to the Appalachian trail. A place to see. And they have recycling bins so they encourage to avoid waste.

My wife and son with our two dog had the most wonderful time camping at big meadows. We stayed at site B111 it was very nice.

I love this NP and Big Meadows campground. We stayed in a TT for 2 weeks, we found plenty of hikes and went to the lodge a couple of times for Starbucks, dinner and just to sit in front of the fireplace. The rangers are very helpful, the deer are extremely abundant, the fall foliage was beautiful

It was a wonderful visit. There were some noisy neighbors with very vocal young children, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves, so it wasn't that big a deal. There were some quiet neighbors too! The hikes are always wonderful and the programs are the best.I would mention that you now have EV charging stations in both Big Meadows and Skyland. And you might want to expand the number because every time I tried to charge, it was busy. More EVs are on the road, so you should expand that.

First night being in the ADA compliant camping spot and the bathrooms nearby were closed with no ETA on opening. Very noisy neighbors whom also played music loudly during the day hours.

all the rangers did an amazing job. i had to do some moving as i could not get one space for my two weeks,but they were very helpful and i got thru it ok.

Fantastic access to several lovely hikes right from the campground. Great facilities, including utility sink with hot water. Best shower houses ever.

Beautiful campground in Shenandoah National Park. Many great hikes of all levels of difficulty and length. No hookups but there is a pretty convenient dump site with potable water.

Great campground, my favorite from this summer. Very clean, safe, well maintained. Not every site has a bear box, but there are plenty of sites that do, including the ADA accessible site I stayed on. Only downside is lack of cell service.

We have been staying at big meadows for years. Since the new management has taken over we have seen a dramatic decline in the friendliness and overall management of the park. I even had a staff member that was flat out rude to me and a lady behind me. I have always loved big meadows it's just sad to see it ruined now by bad, unfriendly management.
